Rajiv was also honoured to introduce the session titled ‘prevention is better than cure’ delivered by Ade Williams from Bedminster Pharmacy in Bristol, one of our customers who is a leading example to our profession and who has really epitomised the ‘gold standard’ our colleagues should strive for. Ade shared his take on the NHS’s overarching objective of preventative care, which remains one of the central planks of the NHS long term plan, and how pharmacists can support delivery of the plan to help people live well for longer through a greater utilisation of community pharmacy.
