Vincent Mulgrew recently joined Sigma with responsibility for developing and executing a comprehensive digital infrastructure strategy. He will do this while shaping the company’s digital landscape driving simplicity, scalability and security.
He will also be responsible for safeguarding the integrity of Sigma’s data and services. While predominantly a company-facing role, as Head of IT Digital Transformation, Vincent will also lead the development and implementation of customer-facing digital solutions. Vincent graduated from UMIST (now University of Manchester) with a degree in mechanical engineering. He held several leadership and tech roles in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors, followed by his most recent role as Head of Digital at consumer brand Dr Martens. While there he led the technology team in transforming several of the brand’s platforms including MS Dynamics 365. He also directed the roll-out of a fully Agile way of working which improved how teams collaborated and the pace at which work was progressed.
Outside work Vincent has a genuine love of cooking, usually anything that involves spice, fish and double cream! He has a miniature dachshund called Gus who keeps him busy, and he is a member of his local CrossFit gym which he tries to attend several times a week.
