Paras is responsible for identifying growth opportunities within Sigma, and the companies beyond the core business. In this newly-created role, Paras will lead Sigma’s route to market for channels outside the pharmacy market in the UK. Furthermore, to work with new pharmacy groups, wholesalers, hospitals and charity organisations outside the EU, and organisations selling non-medicinal goods within the EU.
Paras joined Sigma in 2012 following his graduation from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in International Business Studies. He completed his Executive MBA at The University of Warwick in 2019. Paras managed the supplier base of more than 200 suppliers, monthly promotional offerings and commercial strategy for the OTC category. He went on to drive the performance of the supplier base, the SKU portfolio and the overall customer experience, positioning Sigma as a preferred wholesaler with UK pharmacy customers and multinational FMCG manufacturers.
Married and a proud father to a baby daughter, Paras loves to travel. He has visited and explored more than 80 countries and he also loves hiking and playing golf.
