Sigma Pharmaceuticals plc Finance Director Bhavin Shah was the proud recipient of the Leaders in Finance Award 2018, presented on the 21 June 2018 at the Athena, in central Leicester. The Awards ceremony was staged by The British Indian Awards.
The British Indian Awards aim to acknowledge and reward the efforts of the British Indian community across a broad spectrum of professions ranging from Entrepreneur of the Year to Best Entertainer with 24 different categories overall.
Irfan Younis, CEO of the awards promoters Oceanic Consulting said: “The British Indian industry continues to expand and flourish year upon year with many now taking up their profession on a full-time basis which is testament to the impact the industry is having to the economy overall.”
This awards ceremony is also part of the Diversity Awards group which provides a platform for and celebrates the achievements of ethnic minority communities throughout the UK and is responsible for The British Muslim Awards which has been running for the last six years.
Sigma Finance Director, Bhavin Shah said: “Winning this award is a landmark achievement for us at Sigma. It’s also an affirmation that the British Asian community are not only holding their own, but making a real contribution to the economy of the country”.
