Sigma was playing a very familiar role as in past years, by sponsoring the best Independent Community Pharmacist Award 2013 and recognising practice excellence in a very public way. The spacious venue at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, was teeming with honoured guests and hard working professionals, all gathered to applaud and pour praise on their fellow professionals who have clearly stood out in the face of close scrutiny and the very exacting standards demanded by the Pharmacy Business judging panel. 
This year was no different and the standards were really high with a few surprises. Sigma’s MD, Dr Bharat Shah was the proud presenter of the coveted Independent Community Pharmacist award and was pleased to make the presentation to Colnbrook Pharmacy in Slough.
